This sturdy cruiser emerged on the scene in the mid - eighties as solid boat with nice lines, ready to go almost anywhere. The naval architect Mark Ellis designed such a great boat it stayed in production from 1979 through 1988 bringing almost 700 of the vessels into the world. Aloha's just naturally bring a very yachty look to the water. Mark Ellis drew from his extensive background and generated the Aloha as an ocean going vessel built for comfort while both traveling and at the dock enjoyment. He used his taste for elegance and common sense boatbuilding for safety and sturdiness. From its spoon bow to its raked transom, the Aloha 32 visually espouses those qualities.Part of the beauty of the short bowsprit is that it not only that it adds beauty by extending the sheer line, but it also opens the foretriangle which serves to effectively compensate for the slightly forward fin keel. This puts jib power back in control and increases handling nicely.In addition to the classic lines the Aloha is comfortable. It is definitely traditionally styled below, but traditional styling is traditional because it works and people like it.
